I'm here to help!

Happy Friday! For those of you who don't yet know me my name is Desirae Groves. Also known as simply, Dez. I have been a professional hairstylist for the past 11 years and I wouldn't change a thing. As many of you know I am a Color Correction Specialist. In addition I am a Blonde specialist, Balayage expert and VIVIDS are my regular forte! I've always believed that you should work to be an expert in your field and focus in on what you really love. In this way, I constantly excel in my field whether it is with continued education, certification, or refining new techniques! Some people, as they say, are a jack of all trades...but a master of none. What do you think about that? In my opinion, it is so important to focus on one thing at a time. Isn't that the road to excellence? I absolutely LOVE what I do. Hair color, highlights, dimensional hair color, Balayage, and the list goes on.

Additionally, the thing that I love about my career is that I can focus on one person at a time. We get to discuss their hair goals and I get to learn about them. I get to know all kinds of people! I always say being a hairstylist is one of the best educations that you can get when it comes to people! I get to share valuable time with people. people that I've just begun to know or have been getting to know over there years, sometime in 4 to 8 hour blocks! Can you believe it?… As you can imagine it is extremely enriching, rewarding, and furthermore, humbling. I am excited for the year to come and for all of the new faces and seasoned that will sit in my chair.
